The word toraja comes from Bugis language to riaja which means a people who live within highland, Toraja is also a name of regency where Toraja people lives, and so they call their land Tana Toraja.
Tana Toraja regency situated within the mountains in the north part of South Sulawesi, this district is the home of Toraja people those has very unique culture especially in the way they manage the ceremony for the died people among their tribe, a very unique grave which is built for their relatives and family, and we can see those unique graves until now.
Toraja people also has very unique and beautiful traditional houses called Tongkonan, there are many Tongkonan around Tana Toraja, this tour will invite to visit beautiful Tongkonan in Tana Toraja as well beautiful places and some unique graves around the area.

10:30 Visit Lemo grave stone, Lemo is beautiful village surrounded by paddy fields, next to this field you can find a very big stone which is used by local Toraja people as the grave for their died relatives and family.
11:30 visit Tampang Allo grave cave, is an old grave cave, formerly used as the grave for the elder of Toraja people

14:00 Visit Londa grave stone, this is the most popular grave stone in Toraja beside Lemo.
15:00 Visit Kambira, a small village where you can find a big tree which is used by Toraja people as the grave for their died babies.
