Kei islands trip itinerary in 4 days

How to reach Kei island?

The easiest and fastest route and the most recommended route are flights with the following routes: Your city – Ambon – Kei island (Langgur)

Departure: The flight from your hometown to Ambon is preferably one day before or a midnight flight that arrives in Ambon in the morning. And then continue take the earliest flight to Dumatubun airport, Langgur at Kei islands.

Return: From Langgur, an early morning flight is recommended, or it can be adjusted to the your flight schedule. And from Ambon to the hometown it is recommended to use an afternoon flight.

Itinerary

If you are planning this trip with a friend from another city or country, then the recommendation as a meeting point is Dumatubun Airport – Langgur, Tual.

This itinerary assumes you are using a private vehicle or hiring a local tour operator to guide you.

Day 1: Arrival – Hawang cave – Evu baths

• Welcome to Dumatuban airport – Langgur, and welcome to Kei islands.
• The first day program is visiting Hawang cave and then Evu baths, here you can take bath and relax for a while.
• Drive to Ngurbloat, it takes around 1 hour, check in hotel around Ngurbloat and free time.
• Dinner is recommended in hotel. And then overnight.

Day 2: Islands hoping: Ngodan island – Ngav island – Bair island – Ngurtafur island

• You’re expected to be ready at the latest 08:00am local time and then start the second day itinerary.
• With a wooden boat you can visit Ngav island, and it takes around 1 hour to reach it from your hotel, and then you can do snorkeling around the island.
• Continue using wooden boat and visit Ngodan island, it takes around 30 minutes to reach it and do snorkeling around it.
• Lunch is recommended at the island, or you pack a lunch box from your hotel for simply arrangement.
• Next continue to visit Bair island and it takes another 1 hour to reach it. Explore this small island and snorkeling around.
• 16:30 back to your hotel and then free time.

Day 3: Musbait hill – Luvat cave –  Ngur Blot

• Take a breakfast before start the tour
• From your hotel, take a short drive and then you can explore Luvat cave, you will have long enough time to do it.
• Continue drive to Ngurbloat and enjoy Ngurbloat beach
• When it is all done, you take around the city and shopping the souvenirs and local snacks.
• Back to your hotel, free time and overnight

Day 4: End of tour

• Breakfast at your hotel and preparing and packing for going back home.
• Transfer out to airport and the tour end.
