Derawan islands 3 days sharing group trip via Berau

• Derawan isalnd: Derawan icon, Pinus beach, Gusung Sanggalau
• Maratua island: Maratua paradise, Halo Tabung cave
• Kakaban island: Kakaban lake, sorkeling at Kakaban wall spot and Kehe Daeng
• Sangalaki island: Baby turtle spot, Mantaray Sangalaki

Day 1 (Berau airport – Derawan islands)

9:00 All participants are expected to be in Berau, either Kalimarau airport or other public places around the city. And then we will pick up all participant one by one.
10:30 Tour will be started, we will drive to Tanjung Batu port, it takes around 3 hours drive
13:00 Crossing to Derawan island using speedboat, it takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Derawan island you will check in hotel and then you will have your free time, you can relax at the beach or just take walk around the island.
14:00 Check in hotel and then lunch in the hotel
16:00 Visit Derawan icon and enjoy sunset in Pinus beach
18:00 Back to hotel, free time
19:00 Dinner and then briefing for the next tour.
20:00 Free time, you can take rest or just enjoy the night at the island.

Day 2 (Derawan – Maratua – Kakaban – Sangalaki island – Gusung Sanggalau)

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel
08:00 We will start to explore Derawan islands, firstly we will visit Maratua island and explore it, Visit Dolphine spot and Maratua paradise you can take as many pictures as you want it here.
10:00 We will also visit Halo Tabung cave, here you can do cliff jumping and swimming in its clear Chrystal water.
11:00 Visit Kahe Daeng and enjoy its beauty
12:00 Next we will take you to “Palung Kakaban” and do snorkeling around this island
13:00 Break and lunch (Lunch box)
14:00 Next we will visit Turtles conservation center at Sangalaki island
15:00 Snokeling at Manta point, if you’re lucky you can meet with a group of Manta ray here (only if the situation and condition allow)
16:00 Visit Gusung Sanggalau and take photos around it
17:00 Transfer back to hotel
18:00 Free time at hotel and personal activity
19:00 Dinner at hotel
20:00 Free time and overnight.

Day 3 (Derawan islands – Berau airport)

07:00 Breakfast at hotel and preparing to check out
9:00 Check out and cross back to Tanjung Batu port using speedboat
9:30 Next we will transfer you to Berau airport, it takes around 3 hours drive or more, we will stop for lunch on the way at local restaurant
12:00 Arrive at Berau, tour ends.

Some of tour destinations has different entrance ticket fee policy between local and international tourist. The stated tour fare is valid for domestic tourist, if you’re an international tourist, you need to pay additionally the entrance ticket fee, you include it into your package by marking it at booking page details

I forgot to add additional entrance ticket fee for foreign tourists when booking, what should I do?
On the first day of the tour, our crew will charge you for the additional entrance tickets fee.

What if I can not do snorkeling? Can I still join this tour?
Snorkeling is safe activity, especially because we provide for you full safety snorkeling equipment including live jacket, during snorkeling, you will also accompanied by our trained local guide, they will be ready for you in case of unexpected situations.
