We will pick you up at hotel, train station, port or other place in Surabaya city, then we will take you to “Rumah Batik Jawa Timur” which is home of East Java traditional batik. Upon arrival at the location and get acquainted with the batik craftsmen, next we will invite you to get to know collection of batik which is coming from all around area in East Java and get to know its history, culture and local wisdom which is reflected on each batik motif.
Next batik class will start with a duration of approximately 2-3 hours, you will be given a piece of cloth to start drawing motifs, then color iy and follow carefully every stage in batik process, at the end of the class, the cloth will be a gift for you and you can bring it home.
In the end of the tour you can optionally visit one of shopping mall around Surabaya and by some souvenir or local Surabaya snacks. Next we will transfer you back to your hotel, tour ends.
