Tumpak Sewu waterfall and B29 sunrise tour from Malang

Day 1

We will pick up you at your hotel or airport or any other public places around Malang. After short introduction with our crew, we will soon drive to the border of Lumajang and Malang regency to visit Tumpak Sewu waterfall. When arrived at the main gate of the waterfall, we have to walk along the stairs down for around 10-15 minutes,  and then you can enjoy and admire the beauty of Tumpak Sewu waterfall. After enjoying the beauty of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, we will follow the same path to get back to the parking area, next we will drive to the city of Lumajang and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Around 02:00 am, we will transfer you to Argosari village, it will takes around 1 hour drive. Upon arrival at Argosari village, we will take a short rest. From here a motorbike taxi will take you to the peak of B29 and it takes around 1 hour to reach it. Next you enjoy the wonderful sunrise of B29. From this place you can also view Bromo volcano and the Sea Of Sands.

When it is all done, we will transfer you back to Malang, it will takes around 4 hours drive and will arrive at Malang in the afternoon. You can chose to be dropped off at your hotel, airport or train station. Tour done.

1. This tour is available everyday with minimum booking is 2 persons
2. Hotel room occupation is 1 room for 2 persons, in case of the number of participants are odd, an extra bed will be added into one of the room.
3. Breakfast is not available in this tour, but optionally you buy some food or snacks around Argosari village which is prepared by local peoples for your breakfast or you can bring it by your own.
4. Stated tour fare are not yet included additional entrance ticket fee for International tourist, they are required to add this fee into the package when make booking.
5. The best time to do this tour is within dry season – within May up to October.
6. Booking must be completed at the latest 3 days prior to the date of tour departure.
7. Itinerary may changes depends to the situations during the tour, including the pick up time and traffic conditions during the trip.
8. Tumpak Sewu tour will takes you to the view point where you can see the beautiful panorama of Tumpak Sewu waterfall, if you want to get down to the waterfall you need to pay additionally for it, find more about it in optional addon service for this tour.
9. To reach the Tumpak Sewu waterfall site, you need to do around 800m trekking down the stairs and rocky path and crossing the river, it takes around 30-40 minutes depends to your stamina.
10. The trekking path to Tumpak Sewu waterfall site will also pass Goa Tetes waterfall.
11. Trekking down to the waterfall site is not recommended for any one with physical disability or old people.
12. During the peak of rainy season (within December up to March) you can still visit Tumpak sewu waterfall to see the panorama but it is not recommended to get down to the waterfall, its too dangerous, unexpected sudden raining may cause flash flood.

When is the best time to do this tour?
It is during dry season, usually ranges in between June until October every year.

What is the average temperature at the peak of B29?
It depends to the season, during rainy season (December – April) it will more warm the during dry season (June – October), in the peak of dry season in some case the temperature could reach minus temperature.
