Day 1

09:00am We will pick up you at your hotel or any places around Kalibaru or Jember city, take simple introduction with our crew and short brief about the tour. Then we will head toward Meru Betiri national park in the border of Jember and Banyuwangi regency, this trip will takes total 5 hours drive through the forest and rivers.
12:00am If you added Green bay beach tour into your package, we will arrange it before reaching Sukamade beach, to reach this beach, you need to trek down small path around 40 minutes, and then you can enjoy this beautiful white sandy beach which is surrounded by the rocky cliff, just like a hidden paradise.
02:00pm Continue driving a 4WD car to Sukamade beach, crossing several rivers and finally stop at Sukamade guest house, this guest house provided by national park for it officer and visitors, we will stay overnight in this guest house.
03:30pm Check in the guest house and free time. You can use your free time to see turtle conservation which located next to the guest house.
07:00pm A simple dinner will be served at caffetaria.
08:00pm Start finding nesting turtles, a ranger will tell you some instructions before doing this tour and will stay along with you during this activity. This attraction will be ended at midnight and the back to the guest house and rest whatever the result.

Day 2

06:00am We will go to Sukamade beach with a turtle babies inside the basket and release it to the ocean, prepare your camera take your picture.
07:00am Back to guest house, free time and have a breakfast.
08:00am Transfer to Banyuwangi, it takes around 5 hours drive.
02:00pm Check in hotel in Banyuwangi, free time and overnight.

NOTE : If you add the tour to Red island beach tour, then we will do it before finishing the tour and we will reach Banyuwangi on very late afternoon.

Day 3

00:00am Start Ijen crater blue fire tour. From your hotel, we will drive around 2 hours to Paltuding, the main gate for tekking to Ijen crater.
02:30 Start trekking to the crater of Ijen, it takes around 1,5-2 hours depend your stamina and power, during this hiking, we will meet with many traditional miners are starting they daily job. You can make a conversation with them and get to know their life.
04:30 From the crater rim, we should get down into the crater, this is the only way to see the blue fire. Then enjoy the amazing blue fire of Ijen, you can also watch traditional miners are taking sulfurs and carry it in their bamboo basket. The blue fire will also start to fade along with the sun shine.
05:30 Trekking up to the crater rim and then continue going back down to Paltuding, it will be much shorter when you do trekking down.
07:00 Rest and breakfast at Paltuding.
08:00 We will leave Paltuding and driving back around 2 hours to Banyuwangi, you can choose to end your trip either in your hotel in Banyuwangi, railway station, Ketapang ferry harbor or any other public places around Banyuwangi.
10:00 End of trip.

1. This tour is available everyday with minimum booking is 2 persons
2. Guest house room occupation in Sukamade is 1 room for 3 persons
3. Hotel room occupation is 1 room for 2 persons, in case your participant number are odd, an extra bed will be added into 1 of the room.

5. If you book this tour for departure during rainy season (within Desember up to May), we strongly recommend you to bring an umbrella or raincoat.

7. The average temperature in Ijen crater will vary between 0-5 celcius degree, depends to the season, the coldest temperature usually in the dry season or within June up to October.

I forgot to add additional entrance ticket fee for foreign tourists when booking, what should I do?
On the first day of the tour, our crew will charge you for the additional entrance tickets fee.

I want to visit Red island beach and Sukamade beach, but I forgot to add it when I made booking?

Don’t worry! We can still arrange it four you, you just need to let us know about it, and you can pay the additional charge for it on the day of tour.

When is the best season to do this tour?

The best season to do both Ijen crater and Sukamade turtle beach tour is within dry season, usually between June up to October every year. When raining, it is hard to do trekking in Ijen crater, and during the trip to Sukamade we should pass several river, and these river usually will flood away when raining.

Will I definitely meet with the nesting turtle?

The turtle breeding season is along the year, but usually the turtle will come to the beach and breeds with some conditions such as at silent night without any light and noise disturbance, light interference usually sourced from fisherman boat, this conditions will avoid the turtles to come and make its nest.

Is there any resto of cafe where I can have dinner in Sukamade?

There is only 1 cafetaria in Sukamade and you will have your dinner and breakfast in that cafe, its a simple cafe organized by the officer of the national park.
