Solok is on the Trans Sumatra Highway, 64 km from Padang and 76 km from Bukittinggi. The town has some fine examples of Minangkabau architecture with hornshaped roofs and outer walls of wood, completely carved and painted in brilliant colours. 60 km from Solok are the twin lakes ( Danau Di Atas and Danau Di Bawah ), which are becoming popular as holiday resorts. Cool mountain air and beautiful landscapes, with impressive thea plantations as far as you can see, have made this spot extraordinary. One of the lakes, set only 1 km apart, is on a slightly higher elevation than the other. The spot offers an impressive panorama of the surrounding countryside and offers excellent opportunities for camping and hiking.
This tour package will take you to visit some interesting tourist destinations in Solok, are Old mosque Kayu Jao, it is the older mosque in all West Sumatera, we will also visit Alahan Panjang tea plantation and the beautiful Twin lake of Alahan. Additionally, we can also enjoy the natural and beautiful view along the way in Hutan Raya Bung Hatta national park and stop at the highest peak of Sitinjau to enjoy the Padang city landscape.

08:00am We will pick up you at Padang city, could be at the airport, your hotel or other place inside the city, next we will drive to Solok regency, it takes around 1,5 hour drive. On the way, we can enjoy the view of natural forest in Hutan Raya Bung Hatta national park, we will also stop at the highest peak of Sitinjau and enjoy Padang city landscape view.
09:30am Firstly we will stop at “Masjid Tuo Kayu Jao”, it is the oldest mosque in all around West Sumatera.
10:00am Continue driving to Alahan Panjang tea plantation.
11:00am Arrive at Alahan Panjang, enjoy fresh air and view to the beautiful and green tea plantation.
12:00am Break and lunch at local restaurant.
01:00pm Next we will visit Twin lake, just like the name, there are two lakes here, Top lake and Below lake, both lake has very beautiful view and landscape.
01:30pm Firstly we will go to Top lake, the lake position located above, this lake has natural and beautiful view. Next we will visit Below lake, the lake position located above.
03:00pm After enjoying all those tour destinations, we will back to Padang city, it takes around 2 hours drive.
05:00pm Arrive at Padang city, we will drop you off at your hotel, airport or any other place in Padang city. Tour ends.
