At the slopes of Mt. Bromo, we can find the historic and mystical Madakaripura waterfall, this waterfall was identified as a hermitage place of Gajah Mada the former prime minister of Majapahit kingdom, the great kingdom which roled the Indonesia archipelago around 13th century.
Madakaripura Waterfalls can be reached within 3 hours driving from Surabaya city. Upon arrival at the main gate of the waterfall, you have to walk around 20 minutes following the river stream to reach the waterfalls, with a height of approximately 100 m, it is the tallest waterfall in East Java. I suggest you to use sandal, because this waterfall area wet and slippery. When you turn left and right you can see the moss covers the body of the rock wall which are surrounded the area of the waterfall, it is formed because of the wind gusts containing water make it grow and turn into green cliffs.

08:00am We will pick up you at your hotel, port or any other place in Surabaya city, short introduction and brief with our crew and we will directly start this tour. It will takes around 3 hours drive to reach Madakaripura waterfall.
11:00am Arrive at Madakaripura waterfall main gate, next we will walk around 20 minutes following the source of river stream. When entering the area of the waterfall, we will pass local rain because of the splash of the waterfall, if you don’t want to be get wet, it is recommended to rent an umbrella or rain coat which are provided by locals. And then you can enjoy this beautiful waterfall.
01:00pm Break and Have lunch at local restaurant.
02:00pm Transfer back to Surabaya
05:00pm Finish Madakaripura waterfall tour, we will drop you off at your hotel or other destinations around Surabaya city.
