Aeng tong tong Keris village and Gili Labak island – Madura tour in 2 days from Surabaya

Day 1: Surabaya – Aeng tongtong Keris village, Sumenep

We will pick up you in Surabaya, could be in your hotel, airport or any other public places around Surabaya, brief introduction and then we will start this tour.

To reach Aeng tong tong village in Sumenep regency, it will takes around 4 hours driving. From Surabaya we will cross Suramadu bridge the longest bridge in Indonesia which connects Java and Madura island, and then continue driving to the east.

Upon arrival in Aeng tong tong village, a local guide will take you for the tour around this village, here you will get complete information about Keris handicraft and its production, the philosophy of Keris, the myth and many other thing about it. Next we will check in hotel in Sumenep and then free time.

In the evening, we will take you to visit The Great Mosque of Sumenep in the city center and enjoy the atmosphere at night, you can also have dinner before late night, we will take you back to hotel, free time and overnight.

Day 2: Gili Labak island - End of tour

After breakfast at hotel, we will head toward Kalianget traditional harbor, and then we will cross to Gili Labak island using a wooden boat, it takes around 2 hours to get to this island, Gili labak is a small uninhabited island. At Gili Labak we will do snorkeling around it and then you can explore the island or just relaxing on its beautiful white sandy beach. You will have enough time until afternoon to relax and enjoy.

Back to Sumenep by boat and then continue driving back to Surabaya, it will takes another 4 hours driving.

In the end of tour we will take you to stop at snacks and souvenirs shopping center along the road to Suramadu bridge, here you can find typical snacks of Madura and its souvenir. Arrive at Surabaya and tour ends.
